What is anger and anger management?

 Anger is one type of emotion that arises as a result of a conflict or disturbance, causing feelings of irritation, disappointment, frustration, or hurt.  You can get angry at certain people, events or traumatic events, and get angry at personal issues.Anger, like any other emotion, can cause physical and psychological changes, so it is advisable to go for counselling center in grimsby, including:

  1. Calm down before saying hurtful words

 When you are angry, harsh words that can hurt your heart. If you are angry and use violent words, the person you are angry with may also get angry.  As a result, the atmosphere heats up and the problem becomes more complicated.In implementing anger management, you must calm down before speaking.

  1. After calming down, express anger in a kind way

When you are calm, your mind will become clearer.  This means that you can express your anger with words that are firm but not confrontational.  That way, the person you’re angry at will know the cause of your anger without hurting their feelings.

  1. Ask a psychologist for help

Controlling anger is not easy for some people, especially for angry people.  People with this trait are known to have a low tolerance for frustration or anger can be inherited from the family. If you find it difficult to control your anger, there is nothing wrong with consulting a psychologist.  In some cases, psychotherapy such as cognitive behavioural therapy needs to be done to help anger management become more effective.
